Sir Patrick Moore, the renowned British astronomer, belives that
alien life would be found in the next 50 years. 'We can't be the only
ones'.
After the discovery of an planet in the Alpha Centauri system earlier
this week, it is former head of the British Astronomical Association's
turn to support the chance for extraterrestrial life to be found in the
near future.
The 89 years old Moore spoke at the launch of his new book, and
hypothesized that we would have to find them and not the other way
around, because earth is 'too boring' for such sophisticated aliens.
Moore is the second astronomer to recently acknowledge the Likelihood of alien life, after the Royal Astronomer,
Lord Martin Rees.
It is my personal believe that the discovery of life in space will
ultimately lead to a more serious and open discussion of UFOs and the ETH
(Extraterrestrial Hypothesis).
